Hi I'm Natalia, The owner of Pisces Upholstery & Interiors. In my professional career, I graduated from Falmouth University with an Upper Hons Degree In Fine Art and successfully completed a post graduate teaching qualification at Warwick University. I continued to work in the education sector, firstly teaching in secondary schools and going on to FE Colleges, Fine Art & Design Subjects. My last teaching post was course leader in Foundation Diploma, Fine Art & Design, teaching students aged 18-40. I enjoyed the rewards my work brought and the close friendships made over those years however after 15 years, I felt that I had accomplished all I could within the industry. I desired a new creative challenge and started to investigate what courses were available in the area.

I completed a professional Diploma in Upholstery at the Traditional Upholstery School in Wiltshire and went on to work for a variety of upholstery firms in the following years. This gave me valuable insight into the broad spectrum of businesses that exist within our industry, taught me valuable skills and inspired me to start my own bespoke upholstery firm.

Pisces Upholstery & Interiors was founded in 2021 with a single aim, to produce quality work that is integral to the furniture, using (whenever possible) sustainable, quality materials, whilst keeping the art of our trade alive.

Our team consists of two passionate female upholsterers, who take a great deal of pride in our work, both in teaching and producing beautiful pieces of upholstery that will stand the test of time!
